We carry a large variety of turquoise beads in varying sizes including White Water, Kingman Blue and Green, Emerald Valley from Nevada and Nevada #8, both a green turquoise. Sleeping Beauty from Globe Arizona, and several types of Campitos.

These beads are finished in the Zachery process and contain no dyes, resin, or wax. We also carry cabochons in all of these types of turquoise with varying ct. weights. We have calibrated stones for jewelry making when it needs to be precise or fit in a particular silver or gold setting.

Come into the shop and see all the stabilized coral for your beading. It comes in various diameters, cuts and color. All beads and turquoise beads are on 16" strands and ready to use.
Foutz carries findings in Sterling Silver for your beading needs and jewelry finishing projects.

The following is a short article about the Zachery process.

The Zachery treatment is a proprietary process developed by electrical engineer and inventor, James Zachery in the early 1980s. Zachery sold the process to Sterling Foutz in 1987. It is the only process where the turquoise retains its natural properties, unlike most other treatments which rely on dyes, resins oils or waxes. The process was studied and thoroughly tested by the GIA. They published their findings in the 1999 spring issue of Gems and Gemology. A synopsis of their report can be found at their website.
